Stephen worked hard for his community by donating and volunteering his time, and was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce. Steve had a passion for tennis, bow hunting, skiing, and golf, and for over 50 years attended races, including NASCAR, at Watkins Glen International Racetrack. He was a member of the Watkins Glen Elks Club. Stephen was a member of the Watkins Glen Presbyterian Church. Friendships made there were so important to him. Stephen enjoyed Seneca Lodge, and his involvement there was one of his greatest pleasures. Stephen purchased and later sold a number of NAPA Auto Parts stores in the area. Doris Pike, a longtime friend, was an integral part of the Glen Auto Parts business. He then managed and purchased Glen Auto Parts. Stephen began his career working for the Glen National Bank. Stephen was a graduate of Watkins Glen High School in 1959, attended Corning Community College, and was a member of the U.S. Stephen was a father, husband, friend and an all-around good person.
